Chemical Operator

Job TitleProduction ResponsibilitiesOperate reactors, work tanks, heat exchangers, homogenizers, and chemical distribution systems safely and efficiently.Execute the production plan while meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards.Perform SAP transactions, inventory movements, cycle counts, and production documentation.Monitor and maintain raw material and finished goods inventories.Operate DeltaV and other process control systems.Conduct in-process and finished product testing, including pH and halogen analysis.Maintain accurate records in compliance with ISO 9001 and company standards.Coordinate operator coverage and support daily production scheduling needs.Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform routine housekeeping.Inspect and properly use required PPE.Complete assigned training by required deadlines.QualificationsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage changing priorities.Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset.Ability to perform mechanical and process-related operations.Experience operating manufacturing process equipment such as vessels, valves, PLCs, and flowmeters.Manufacturing experience required.Forklift and hoist operation experience preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and DeltaV systems preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to climb and descend stairs regularly.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE.Ability to work extended shifts of up to 12 hours.Flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed.
