About the Role

The Company is seeking a Restructuring Managing Director, also known as a Case Leader, to fill a senior-level position within its Turnaround and Restructuring (T&R) division. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing client engagement teams through complex in-and-out of court turnaround and restructuring situations. This role requires a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a professional service or consulting firm environment, with a focus on restructuring and distressed situations. The Managing Director will be at the forefront of the final delivery of analyses, providing guidance on complex restructuring alternatives, and leading the negotiation of credit agreements to best protect the client. Applicants for the Restructuring Managing Director position at the company should have a proven track record of effectively planning for and mitigating risks on projects, as well as expertise in driving change at executive levels. The role demands exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to develop credible recommendations under pressure, and a high level of proficiency in written and verbal communication. A high-energy, flexible, and adaptive work style is essential, as is the ability to manage relationships with senior client executives and oversee the quality of engagements. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree from a top academic institution, with advanced degrees and professional certifications such as CFA, CIRA, or CPA being preferred. Extensive travel and the willingness to work long hours, including weekends, to meet client demands, are also required.
