Title: Director, Foundation Operations Department: DT Res Dev & Coll Fndtn Campus Location: Trinity River Campus Employee Classification: APT - Administrative Position Type: FT - Regular Grant Funded: No Pay Frequency: Monthly Compensation Details: Starting Pay - $89,100; Commensuratewith education and experience Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Occasional evening and weekend hours are required during peaktimes Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remotework Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director,Foundation Operations is responsible for managing core operationalfunctions that support the Foundation’s strategic goals. This roleensures effective coordination of fundraising, scholarshipagreements, and stakeholder engagement. The Director plays a keyrole in advancing the Foundation’s mission through thoughtfulplanning and operational oversight. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Performance Requirements* Oversees daily operations of the Foundation office, includingscholarships, records management, communication, donor stewardship,and fundraising Assists the Chief Development Officer with project and eventplanning, design, development, and implementation Supports the Chief Development Officer with Board of Directorbusiness, including preparation of meeting materials and agendaitems Contributes to the development and execution of fundraisinginitiatives, including annual giving campaigns and strategicplanning Communicates project milestones, challenges, and recommendedsolutions to the Chief Development Officer in a timely manner Maintains accurate and organized records related to donoractivity, scholarships, and board documentation Coordinates internal and external communications to ensureconsistent messaging and stakeholder engagement General Supervision and Management Provides leadership for all assigned employees Service Excellence Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege Supervision Works under the general supervision of the Chief DevelopmentOfficer of the Tarrant County College Foundation *Performs Other Related Tasks as Required The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of thevarious types of work that may be performed. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of work-related experiencerelevant to the Essential Performance Requirements; or anyequivalent combination of education and work-relatedexperience. Three (3) years of experience supervising direct reports,including assigning work, managing performance, coaching employees,and supporting employee development Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree At least three (3) years’ working experience leading strategicplanning and implementation At least three (3) years’ working experience leading thedevelopment of fundraising and engagement initiatives At least three (3) years’ working experience in a communitycollege environment related to the Essential PerformanceRequirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Foundation activities, including fundraising,stewardship, board relations, scholarship awarding, andcommunication Skilled in oral and written communication, with the ability topresent creative content Skilled in customer service and interpersonal interactions Skilled in using applications and enterprise systems, includingRaiser’s Edge, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Able to work effectively and collaboratively with districtpersonnel, community partners, and Foundation team members Able to think critically to solve and communicate problems in a faste-paced environment with varied and unpredictable demands Able to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based onpolicy, procedure, and practice Able to delegate work appropriately to staff to meet Foundationand College deliverables Physical Demands and Work Environment: Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representatives of thosethat must be met by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job.
