Job Summary:
The operating room nurse or surgical technologist position is located in Corpus Christi, Texas. Candidates are required to bring their professional license on the first day. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within a busy operating room environment and working closely with a team to ensure patient safety and care quality.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and/or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license; Bachelors degree or higher preferred; experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system; familiarity with neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedic procedures is desirable.
• Schedule: Day Shift, 8 hours; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit has 9 beds and a staff of approximately 22.41 members, including RNs, CSTs, PRN team members, and an OR analyst. Staff ratios are typically 1:1 for OR patients. Equipment includes Brain Lab, Davinci surgical robot, and microscopes. Call shifts are mandatory based on unit needs, with weekend call from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am, and weekday call from 3pm to 7am.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
