Job Description

Join our manufacturing team as a General Production Worker where you will be responsible for performing a variety of production tasks, including machine operating and working with extrusion machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment.

• Perform assembly tasks and general labor duties.

• Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading materials.

• Conduct machine operation and troubleshooting.

• Use hand tools and tape measures for precise measurements.

• Engage in packaging and packing tasks.

• Interpret and work with blueprints and mechanical instructions.

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in daily operations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and general labor tasks.

• Ability to operate machinery and hand tools efficiently.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing troubleshooting.

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with extrusion machines.

• Skillful use of power tools and forklifts.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing setting with 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, alternating every two weeks from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blythewood, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
