Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

We are actively seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (FNP-C) and Physician Assistants (PA-C) to provide outpatient primary care services across a well-established network of multispecialty community clinics in Central California.

This is a high-impact locum tenens opportunity supporting underserved patient populations with strong clinical infrastructure, collaborative teams, and streamlined onboarding.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 6/2 - 7/14 (orientation every 2 weeks on Tuesdays)
• Contract Length: Minimum 4 months with strong extension potential
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days
• Paid Onboarding: One-week orientation with bi-weekly Tuesday start dates

Compensation Options (Chosen Prior to Submission)

Option 1 Travel Package

• $90 $100 per hour
• Lodging covered

Option 2 All-In Rate

• $105 $110 per hour
• No travel reimbursement

Compensation structure must be selected prior to submission to avoid post-offer changes.

Schedule Options

Full-time scheduling available:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts
  OR
• 4 x 9-hour shifts

Schedule includes:

• One evening shift per week (12:00 PM 9:00 PM)
• One weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday)
• Additional shifts may be available based on clinic needs

Clinical Details

• Setting: Outpatient multispecialty clinic
• Patient Volume:
• patients per 8-hour shift
• patients per 9-hour shift

Scope of Care

• Bread-and-butter family medicine
• Newborn through geriatric patient population
• Minor procedures including:
• Suturing
• Incision & drainage

Patient Population

• Primarily Spanish-speaking communities
• Underserved agricultural and farm-working populations

Practice Support

• EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Supervising Physician provided onsite
• Established clinical support teams and operational infrastructure

Requirements

• Active FNP-C or PA-C
• Active California license
• Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
• Comfortable in a moderate to high-volume outpatient setting
