Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor RN - Day Shift - 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026. This role involves providing high-quality care in a busy acute care setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. The position requires experience in medical-surgical nursing, with a focus on a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. Job Details Position Description: Provides care across multiple units including Medical, Surgical, and Oncology. Transitioning to electronic health records using EPIC in November 2026. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, minimum of 2 years' recent medical-surgical experience, proficient with Cerner electronic charting system. Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: Unit handles patients with diagnoses such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and gastrointestinal conditions. No first-time travel nurses accepted. RNs may troubleshoot respiratory equipment but do not typically manage drips. Floating to other Medical-Surgical pods may be required.
