Cardiac Sonographer

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality echocardiograms for adult and/or pediatric patients in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities include acquiring and optimizing cardiac ultrasound images, performing Doppler and color flow studies, assisting cardiologists with stress and contrast echocardiography, and accurately documenting findings in the EMR. The sonographer ensures exam safety and comfort, follows accreditation and quality standards, coordinates with nurses and physicians on urgent findings, and supports continuous improvement, education, and adherence to BJC’s mission-driven, compassionate care values.
