CNC Lathe Machine Operators - 3rd shift

Description We are seeking skilled CNC Swiss / Lathe Machine Operators to join our 3rd shift teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Regular tasks performed and outcomes to be accomplished on the job. Other duties may be assigned. Operate, Maintain and Setup, CNC machinery from blueprints with tooling. Work with Manufacturing Engineer on program changes to the machine, when needed. Perform Quality check on parts for accuracy according to blueprint specs. Identify product defects and work with QC team. Conduct minor maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Perform all work in accordance with established safe operating procedures. Work with team members and shift supervisor on the assembly line. Ability to bend, lift and move up to 40 pounds of finished good once cut down to size from machine. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Must be able to physically perform all job duties. When working and in the machine shop, use of hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes are required. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Knowledge of programming machinery for specific tasks. Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc. Strong attention to detail and quality control practices.
