Experienced Diesel & Gas Automotive Technician
Walton Motors is looking for an Experienced Diesel & Gas Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. Were seeking a skilled technician with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience, strong diagnostic ability, and ASE certification (or equivalent). Diesel experience and Ford certification are highly valued.

Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot systems and components
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and more
- Communicate findings and repair needs clearly to the Service Advisor
- Provide accurate time estimates for recommended repairs
- Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive technician experience required
- ASE certification or equivalent required
- Diesel experience required; gas engine experience required
- Ford certification highly preferred
- Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills (B-Level minimum)
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Positive, professional attitude with teamwork skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and service procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
