We are seeking Special Education professionals for several contract positions in an onsite, self-contained setting. Openings are available at various grade levels: two at elementary, one at PreK, and one at high school. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee teaching license required
• 459 or 461 Special Education endorsement
• CDC (Comprehensive Development Classroom) certification
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably within a self-contained classroom
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies for diverse learners
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students in a self-contained classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned caseload
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ academic and developmental growth
• Cultivate a positive, structured learning environment tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
