Pharmacy Manager

Summary The Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health directs pharmacy staff, leads operational excellence, and ensures quality patient care across all aspects of pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management Implement and manage patient care programs Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and staff Motivate, inspire, and develop pharmacy support staff Identify and execute critical business opportunities for growth and performance improvement Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting Seek collaborative approaches to drive better outcomes Align team around purpose to secure commitment and support Foster a ‘team’ culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride Apply acquired knowledge to differentiate CVS from competitors and improve health outcomes Required Qualifications Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List Immunization Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) Listed on the pharmacy state license as the ‘pharmacist in charge’ Submission of required information/documents to state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in applicable states) Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.
