How you’ll make an impact in this role Ascension Medical Group Via Christi is looking for a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Medical Group Via Christi to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: Join a tenured team of 6 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers! Great location to build a practice in the Wichita community. Base salary guarantee with wRVU, production based incentive. Responsibilities: Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by the Local Credentialing Office required. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
