Registered Nurse Opportunity

Bring your expertise as a Registered Nurse to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in elementary grades 1 through 5. You'll collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote wellness and provide exceptional care to students across a range of ages and needs.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse license
• Prior experience as an RN, ideally in a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Compassion and strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-grade environment
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care for students in 1st through 5th grade
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical medical practices
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions for students in grades 15
• Develop individualized healthcare plans in collaboration with families and school personnel
• Administer medications and first aid as needed
• Monitor and manage communicable disease protocols
• Promote health education and disease prevention within the school community
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and health incidents
• Respond to emergency situations with calm, decisive action
• Act as a resource for students, parents, and staff regarding health concerns
