Schedule/Hours:

• Orientation provided bi-weekly for seamless transition
• Flexible contract-based assignment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver compassionate nursing care to critically ill and trauma patients in a 32-bed Emergency Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a large community hospital with 355 beds and advanced specialty centers, including neurology, cardiac, cancer, and orthopedics
• Provide patient and family education and support during stressful and emergent situations
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and initiate life-saving interventions when necessary
• Ensure adherence to best practices and hospital protocols to achieve excellent patient safety standards
