Aircraft Mechanic

This role focuses on repairing, overhauling, and modifying fixed-wing airframes for a variety of business and commuter aircraft, including Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, and Gulfstream models. You will perform hands-on aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and heavy maintenance tasks while ensuring all work meets safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, overhaul, and modification work on fixed-wing airframes, including Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, and Gulfstream aircraft.
• Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft structures and systems to identify wear, damage, or potential safety issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues on aircraft and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Carry out heavy maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance manuals, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
• Complete modifications and upgrades on aircraft components and structures as required.
• Use a personal toolbox with tools that are properly shadowed and etched to maintain tool control and safety standards.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and modification work accurately in maintenance records and logs.
• Follow established safety protocols and quality control procedures while working on aircraft.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of aircraft projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area within the hangar or maintenance facility.

Essential Skills

• At least 4 years of on-aircraft experience repairing, overhauling, and modifying fixed-wing airframes.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance, including troubleshooting, inspection, heavy maintenance, and modification.
• Practical experience working on Beechcraft King Air, Bombardier Dash 8, Cessna, Learjet, or Gulfstream aircraft.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and structural issues on a variety of aircraft types.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Must hold either an Airframe (A) or Powerplant (P) license.
• Ability to use and maintain a personal toolbox with tools that are shadowed and etched for tool control.
• Attention to detail and commitment to performing high-quality, compliant maintenance work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and work instructions.

This is a Contract position based out of Bethany, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
