Job Summary:

This full-time role involves varied shifts including three 12-hour weekday shifts and weekend coverage, supporting healthcare delivery and patient management in a clinical setting. Responsibilities adapt to the practice's needs, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal clinical signs to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Manage efficient healthcare service delivery during patient visits, including accurate and updated medical record documentation. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and communicate abnormal findings to physicians.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physicals. Handle sample medications, maintain logs, arrange patient testing or admissions, and ensure proper consents are obtained before procedures or immunizations.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and treatments as prescribed, supporting overall clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

This position is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
