Jr. Heavy Equipment Operator

The highly trained staff at EnviroVantage is looking to add to our team as we continue to grow. EnviroVantage is looking for a Jr. Heavy Equipment Operator . Essential Functions Excavation Site Work Demolition Building Take-Down Water, Sewer, and Utility Work Willing to get out of seat and help crews as needed Must be focused on SAFETY at all times Cleaning and maintaining equipment, including basic repairs Tracking scheduled maintenance and notifying supervisors if past due Filling out performance records to track equipment use and report problems Experience Minimum of 2 years of excavation experience required OSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire Hoisting 2A and 1C Licenses preferred. If do not hold, willing to get license within 30 days of hire Working Environment / Physical Demands Work may be performed under extreme weather conditions including hot and cold ambient temperatures. Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds. Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements. Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States. A valid driver’s license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy. A current DOT medical card required or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
