The Bakken trend is a sequence of liquids-rich sand and shale layers in the Williston Basin, which stretches across western North Dakota and into Canada.
We hold approximately 799,000 net acres in the Williston Basin, located in North Dakota and eastern Montana. The primary producing zones are the Middle Bakken and Three Forks formations. We operated three rigs and one frac crew on average during 2025, resulting in 72 operated wells drilled and 98 operated wells brought online. During 2025, net production averaged 204 MBOED. Position Overview If you are selected as the Multi-Skill Operator (MSO) for the Bakken, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving production. You will perform most of your responsibilities at the well site via a company-provided vehicle. You will be a Safety Leader and drive ConocoPhillips' commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). This position is based in Dunn Center, ND. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 50-mile driving radius of Dunn Center, ND. This is a Safety Sensitive position. Your responsibilities may include:

- Accessing remote locations to check wells, maintain normal operating levels, pressures and flow on separation equipment, adjusting automatic and manual controls
- Inspecting gas and oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and attached piping components for leaks or unusual conditions and taking corrective actions
- Gauging tanks for sale or transfer of crude oil and water
- Operating and troubleshooting rental compressors, flowing gas wells, gas lift wells, testing wells and operation of sand traps and flow back equipment
- Maintaining chemical injection rates, start up, and shut in wells
- Entering production data into computer databases and reviewing outputs for correctness
- Executing new facility walk-throughs, management of changes (MOCs), and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSRs)
- Regulatory work including agency testing requirements, change of status, tank & meter numbering for new facilities
- Responding to alarms after hours or when on call
- Implementing all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures outlined in the ConocoPhillips Management System

- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Current and valid driver's license
- 1 or more years of experience requiring mechanical skills, including but not limited to: use, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment; general tasks requiring physical operation of equipment and machinery; performing inspection of equipment and machinery
- Currently reside or are willing to relocate within a 50-mile driving radius of Dunn Center, ND
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility to work different schedules as needed
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to work 8/6 schedule Wednesday to Wednesday
- Willing and able to perform/align with following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions; Work in several different geographic locations throughout a single work day; Work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle; Wear appropriate special safety equipment; Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks; Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull; Use hand tools to make minor repairs; Work weekends and be on call
- Associate's degree/Trade certification or higher in Production Technology, Process Technology, or other related technical field or foreign equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience in an environment prioritizing Health, Safety and Environment
- 1 or more years of experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology
- Basic level of proficiency in using production software Cygnet, SCADA (Wonderwear), eVIN
- Works well with others to meet safety, environment, and production targets
- Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
- Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
- Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
- Work is performed in field and facility environments and may involve exposure to harsh weather conditions, noise, heights, confined spaces, and energized electrical equipment
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn and strict adherence to Safety protocols
- Work in several different geographic locations throughout a single work day; Work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle
- Climb heights up to 24 feet to gauge tanks; Walk, bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull; Use hand tools to make minor repairs Work alone a high percentage of the time; Be on call; Work weekends
