Position ICT Designer (Information and Communications Technology Designer) Location Boise, ID Bend, OR Billings, MT Bozeman, MT Great Falls, MT Helena, MT Kalispell, MT Missoula, MT Casper, WY Cody, WY Gillette, WY Sheridan, WY Spokane, WA Responsibilities Design and draft ICT floor plans, including structured cabling, pathways, telecommunications rooms, audio‑visual, public address, access control, video surveillance, intercom, and intrusion detection systems. Prepare CSI Division 27 and 28 written specifications. Coordinate Revit models and backgrounds with architects and other disciplines. Attend and contribute to internal team, discipline, and project meetings. Foster client relationships and collaborate with design team members. Research technical product information. Conduct configuration and commissioning of systems to ensure 100% functionality. Provide support to the team, develop tools, improve processes, and share technical knowledge. Ensure all client and design team due dates, submission dates, and completion dates are met. Perform job‑site inspections to determine existing conditions, assess progress by contractors, and compile punch lists. Track multiple projects, clients, and team member requests with excellent follow‑up to keep promises. Additional tasks may include riser diagrams, report writing, submittal review, RFI responses, and attending client meetings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in information, communication, and technology system design. Fluency with Revit design software. Ability to learn the application of relevant codes. Applicable ICT certifications are preferred; RCDD certification is preferred or obtainable within five years. Benefits $75,000 to $145,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth. Annual bonuses.
