Technical Architect

Who are we looking for?

The Enterprise API Architect will define and enforce API governance standards across the organization, driving design consistency, security compliance, versioning strategy, and lifecycle management using Swagger Studio.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Design

• Establish naming, error handling, and payload conventions
• Create reusable Swagger templates and domain models
• Lead API Design Review Board

Security & Compliance

• Define OAuth2/OIDC standards and JWT claims structure
• Establish rate limiting, throttling, and gateway policy standards
• Ensure compliance alignment (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR as applicable)
• Conduct API threat modeling and security reviews

Versioning & Lifecycle

• Define versioning and backward compatibility strategy
• Establish deprecation and retirement policies
• Create consumer notification model

Governance Enablement

• Define API maturity scoring framework
• Publish governance playbooks and standards documentation

Required Skills

• 10+ years enterprise integration experience
• Experience with API Gateways (Apigee, Kong, Azure APIM, etc.)
• Deep understanding of REST principles and microservices
• Experience implementing API governance at scale

Preferred

• Regulatory environment exposure

Qualification

• Somebody who has at least 10+ years of work experience.
• Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college
