Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Day Shift)

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Dietitian Nutritionist to empower patients to achieve their health goals and lead healthier lives. You will build trusting partnerships with patients by understanding their health concerns, goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences. You will collaborate with patients to create personalized nutrition plans and may participate in public demonstrations or seminars to promote nutrition education and healthy eating habits.

Successful candidates have expertise in diet and nutrition, strong analytical skills, a caring approach, and excellent communication, active listening, problem-solving, and computer skills. A passion for public speaking and inspiring others to adopt healthy eating habits is also highly valued.

General Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations to understand health goals, dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions.
• Develop individualized nutrition plans for patients.
• Collaborate with culinary staff to create menus for patients and cafeteria visitors.
• Compile data and track patient progress toward their health goals.
• Enter patient information into the database.
• Stay current with advancements in nutrition science.
• Deliver presentations to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Health, or a related field.
• Valid state license.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related dietary role.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, public speaking, and listening skills.
• Commitment to ongoing training and research to stay current with developments in the field.
• Proficiency with computers and data entry.
• Compassion and a genuine interest in helping others develop healthier eating habits.
