Quanex is looking for a Custom Screens Assembler - 1st Shift to join our team located in  Rice Lake, WI.  

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | Overtime needs vary daily

Begins at $18.50/hr with opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis

What Success Looks Like:

• Operate and set up production equipment
• Perform manual window screen fabrication and cloth installation
• Complete quality checks and maintain attention to detail
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve overall workflow efficiency.
• Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proactively reporting potential hazards.
• Demonstrates dependable attendance and punctuality

What You Bring:

• Production, assembly, warehouse, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is preferred but not required

• Strong attendance and reliability

• Eagerness to learn

• Attention to detail

• Team-oriented mindset

• Self-motivation and initiative

• Ability to follow processes and safety expectations

• Basic mechanical aptitude or hand-tool experience is a plus move up
