Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products throughout a high-volume distribution center. This role supports warehouse operations by transporting, storing, replenishing, and loading inventory while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the facility.

• Replenish inventory in pick locations to support order fulfillment operations.

• Transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas.

• Verify product counts, item codes, and location assignments for inventory accuracy.

• Inspect equipment before and after use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• Assist with receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and shipping activities.

• Maintain accurate records using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or inventory tracking tools.

• Follow all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse associates, order pickers, and supervisors to meet operational goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Comfortable working at heights when operating elevated equipment.

• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions within a distribution facility.
