Location and Shift Service Area – St. Louis, MO Shift Requirements after onboarding/training for this role: M-F, 12:00 - 21:00 Responsibilities You will be servicing Medical Imaging Equipment in the St. Louis, MO area as a Customer Service Engineer (level based on prior experience). You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision. You will deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. You will manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management. You will manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools and inventory parts. You will establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately. Qualifications Knowledge and experience performing service, preventive maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision. Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and to perform necessary administrative duties accurately. Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment. General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies and grounding. Required Skills Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment; able to work both individually and in an established team setting. Proficiency in network applications and tools (including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools). 3+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments. Valid driver’s license with ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record. Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting and standing work, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone. Excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology covering mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software, electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions, pending charges or other serious moving violations unless prohibited by state/local law. Base Pay Range: $58,240 – $80,080. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography, market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission‑eligible position, commission eligibility will be in accordance with the company’s plan.
