CDL-A Trainee Driver - Paid Training - Eastern North Carolina

Short version: paid training, guaranteed weekly pay once you go solo, and freight that stays east. Built for new Class A drivers in eastern North Carolina.

The Deal

• Solo Pay: $1,200 to $1,700 average weekly
• Guarantee: $1,000 a week for 3 months after first solo dispatch
• Training: $850 a week with a trainer
• CPM: 55 to 65 cents, based on experience
• Stops: $15 each
• Bonus: Monthly performance plan

Qualifications

• Class A CDL, age 21+
• 120+ training hours from an accredited school, or verifiable OTR time (6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years)
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5
• No DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Pass DOT physical, hair and urine test
• Live within 200 miles of Richmond, VA

The Work

• Home: Every 2 weeks
• Miles: 1,900 to 2,300 weekly
• Freight: Dry van, drop and hook plus live stops
• Region: Eastern zones, rarely west of the Mississippi
