PURPOSE:
Load trucks with orders pulled throughout the day by order pullers
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use forklift to load trucks
- Load trucks where material won’t get damaged or fall off truck
- Verify orders are correct when loading on truck
- Attends all required safety training
- Comply with company safety policy
- Perform all other duties as assigned including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.
COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
- Good attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and self-managed.
- Ability to remain focused and calm.
- Good organizational skills.
- Able to multitask.
- Operate forklift and pass forklift operator exam.
- Team player.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Sometimes deal with sounds or noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
- Heavy lifting up to 100lbs might be required
- Work in all weather conditions
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- 40+ hour workweek. Must be available for overtime as needed.
