Accountant

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join the accounting team at Gorilla Glue. This role is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, and reconciliations within a fast-paced manufacturing or consumer products environment. Key Responsibilities Perform daily accounting operations, including participation in the full accounts payable cycle. Perform daily General Ledger activities, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes. Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger. Analyze Accounts payable data and identify discrepancies or process improvement opportunities. Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and finance. Assist with accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations. Support process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting functions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong experience with Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations. Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Oracle Fusion experience is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Attention to detail and accuracy.
