About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience in Stepdown or ICU in an acute care hospital. Must be competent with insulin drips, precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, and Cardizem. Experience with post-operative surgical patients and traumas is helpful. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with mission, values, and service standards. Cares for patients undergoing cardiac procedures and receiving cardiac infusions for dysrhythmias. Handles general medical care and other medical overflow patients. Candidates should be flexible, dependable, hardworking, and possess strong teamwork skills. Dress code is black scrubs only, with no unacceptable attire. Weekends and call requirements are as per facility needs.
