Overview Job Location: Dorine Loso House - San Francisco, CA 94117 Salary Range: $4,712.00 - $4,712.00 per month Loso House, San Francisco Named after longtime Progress supporter and San Francisco public health advocate Dorine Loso, this transitional residential program was established in 2007. Like Clay and Parker Hill, its program is designed primarily for clients returning from often long stays locked in institutions or other long term care settings. The program offers comprehensive in-house day treatment programs for the residents of the program. The maximum length of stay for the Haight-Ashbury program is one year. Primary Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Program Director or the Assistant Director, Counselors provide support and assistance to clients of this unique long term adult psychiatric residential treatment program. The Counselors advocate for and respond to clients' treatment and rehabilitation needs. Specific functions are outlined in the job description. Promote the philosophy of social rehabilitation as it applies to residential treatment. Performance of intake interviews. Group, individual, and family counseling. Treatment plan development and implementation. Coordination of activities; discharge planning. Developing and maintaining contact with clients' therapists and related treatment programs. Maintain computer requirements of the City and County of San Francisco Community Behavioral Health Services. Maintain clinical records and perform minor household repair and cleaning tasks.
