About This Role
Location: Learning Links Child Care, Jefferson, WI
Position: Full-Time (or Part-Time) Float Teacher
Start Date: Negotiable
Are you a caring, flexible, and energetic educator who loves working with children of all ages? Learning Links Child Care is looking for a Licensed Childcare Float Teacher to join our dedicated team! What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:
- Step into classrooms as needed to support teachers and maintain staff-to-child ratios
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Follow daily routines and classroom schedules
- Assist with mealtimes, diapering/toileting, and cleanup
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and families
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin Childcare License/Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children ages 0–5 preferred
- Flexibility to work in multiple classrooms and adapt to different teaching styles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
