Tous Les Jours Bakery is an international bakery franchise specializing in freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes, and beverages. Founded in South Korea in 1997, it has grown to operate hundreds of locations worldwide, including many throughout the United States. Known for its blend of Asian and European baking techniques, Tous Les Jours offers a wide variety of sweet and savory baked goods made fresh daily, emphasizing quality ingredients and seasonal creativity. The TLJ Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in achieving financial objectives, managing daily café operations, ensuring staff compliance with standards and procedures, and maintaining a superior guest experience. The role assists in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, manages assigned departments, and helps foster a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities Assists the General Manager in developing, monitoring, and executing financial operational plans, budgets, and sales & marketing strategies to support the overall goals of Tous Les Jours. Supports day-to-day café operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing work while controlling labor and expenses. Helps analyze variances and recommends or implements corrective actions. Helps implement creative strategies to increase revenue and supports efforts to enhance catering sales through effective management of sales initiatives and measurable sales deliverables. Participates in regular meetings with the management team to review performance, share input, and support direction and motivation toward achieving team and company goals. Monitors café appearance and reports or resolves operational issues promptly. Helps achieve overall guest service goals through effective team support and supervision. Oversees daily guest service interactions, ensuring issues and complaints are resolved appropriately and guest satisfaction is maintained. Builds positive guest relations by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and supporting loyalty‑building initiatives. Supports compliance with all applicable occupational, health, and safety regulations and company policies. Promotes a safe working environment by helping oversee the Safety Program and ensuring employees follow all safety procedures. Skills Minimum of one year supervisory experience in high‑volume retail, bakery, hospitality, or restaurant venue required Proven experience in food preparation or restaurant management within quick service or fast food environments Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training & development Familiarity with POS systems for sales transactions and reporting Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards in a food service setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately Ability to lead a team effectively in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food handling and store operations Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and early morning shifts Benefits Competitive salary with performance‑based bonus tied to quality and cost targets A leadership role with real ownership Growth path to multi‑units oversight as the franchise expands Free bakery items and employee discounts Direct access to the franchise owner — your work matters and your voice is heard #J-18808-Ljbffr
