Orthopedic and Neuro Operating Room Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

The schedule includes varied shifts with weekend and weekday on-call duties. The position requires 4x10 hour shifts with on-call responsibilities every 4-5 weekends and one weeknight on-call duty.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse with a strong background in Orthopedic and Neuro procedures, specifically in Level 1 or 2 trauma environments. This position requires a high level of clinical competency and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing duties in the operating room, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and surgical equipment.
• Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and provide urgent care as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in Orthopedic and Neuro OR nursing (Level 1 or 2 preferred).
• Ability to meet low/mid/high performer expectations as determined by the facility.
