Lunchroom Aide Belmont Elementary School 2026-2027 School YearLunchroom Aide Shift Hours: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Purpose: This position provides assistance and supervision for children during lunch to ensure a safe and positive environment. Starting Salary: $15.60/hour Anticipated Start Date: August 19th, 2026 Requirements: All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test. Must work in noisy and crowded environments.ConditionsSupervise students at lunch and maintains a positive atmosphere that aligns with the rules present within the buildingFunctionsCirculate through the cafeteria during mealtime and assists students as neededAssist in lunchroom clean-up on an as-needed basis between lunch periods/groups of studentsReport safety, sanitary, and other hazards immediately to front office staffMaintain confidentiality and professionally represents the school and district in interactions with parents, community, staff, and studentsAttend work regularly and is punctualSupport the mission and vision of USD 232Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
