This position oversees security details and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and concerns. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding/Construction, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care.EMPLOYMENT AT EXETER JOB CORPSEmployment at Exeter Job Corps is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, professional reference check and motor vehicle record check.Here is the schedule for this role:Sunday-Monday 11:30pm-8:30am / Tuesday-Wednesday OFF / Thursday-Friday-Saturday 11:30pm-8:30amJob Responsibilities:Helps maintain a safe and secure environment on centerComplies with DOL/Company reporting requirementsCompiles, analyzes and summarizes safety/security data and takes appropriate actions to resolve issues and concernsCoordinates staff coverage to ensure student areas are supervisedHelps conduct and document Center-wide safety and accident prevention trainingConducts and documents incident and accident investigations per established timelines and requirementsConducts routine safety inspections and assessments of all Center equipment and facilities to identify potential safety and security hazardsResponsible for Center security, visitor control and student accountabilityOther duties as assignedMust be 21 years or older to applyHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredA minimum of one year military, law enforcement, or security experience requiredA valid driver's license required - applicant must have a relatively clean driving record to meet Company's insurability requirementsPhysical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching“Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
