Labor and Delivery RN
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.
The Labor and Delivery RN will provide care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child. The role involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vaginal exams and monitor fetal heart rates.
- Provide immediate care to newborns in the delivery room.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Must possess current RN license.
- Certifications required: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced, Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
- Experience with a range of birth experiences, from <100 to >300 births.
