What We're Looking For Previous full-service serving experience preferred Friendly, outgoing, and hospitality-focused personality Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to confidently manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills Dependable, punctual, and prepared for every shift Positive attitude with a team-first mentality Strong food, beer, tequila, margarita, and cocktail knowledge - or the willingness to become an expert Ability to confidently recommend menu items and upsell food and beverages Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences Flexible availability, including lunch, dinner, evenings, weekends, and holidays Position Responsibilities Welcome every guest with genuine Texas-style hospitality and outstanding customer service Guide guests through the menu while confidently recommending food, margaritas, beer, tequila, cocktails, and daily features Accurately enter guest orders into the POS system Manage multiple tables while delivering attentive, efficient, and personalized service Anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience Upsell appetizers, desserts, beverages, and featured menu items Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, Server Assistants, and management Process guest payments accurately and responsibly Complete opening, running, and closing side work Follow responsible alcohol service, Health Department regulations, and company standards Support fellow team members to ensure exceptional service throughout the restaurant Guest Experience Standards At Green Coyote Cantina, hospitality is more than taking an order - it's creating an experience. Our Servers are expected to: Build genuine connections with guests Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive service Maintain strong menu and beverage knowledge Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy during busy service Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive team culture Create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back Schedule & Availability Green Coyote Cantina is open daily from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, serving lunch, dinner, and special events.
