Your future role at a glance â Location: Murfreesboro, TN â Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford â Department/Specialty: Surgical Services â Schedule: Evenings l Part-time â Sign-on bonus: Up to $8,000 How you’ll make an impact in this role â Deliver expert nursing care within the operative setting, managing the safety and clinical needs of patients undergoing complex surgical and invasive procedures. â Drive procedural efficiency by performing scrub functions, including the meticulous selection and sterile handling of specialized instruments and surgical supplies. â Serve as a vigilant patient advocate through circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient status while managing comprehensive care before, during, and after surgery. â Provide direct clinical assistance to the operating physician by performing essential tasks such as suturing, wound exposure, and achieving hemostasis to ensure successful outcomes. â Ensure a high-functioning surgical environment by expertly preparing operating rooms and maintaining the readiness of advanced surgical instruments What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: â Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. â One or more of the following: â Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. â BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: â Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
