MRI Technologist - Contract Position

Location: Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Job Description: The MRI Technologist will operate GE 450W 1.5 T equipment, performing various imaging procedures including brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdomen, and cardiac scans. The role requires expertise in MRI technology and adherence to safety protocols while providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring accurate imaging results.
• Administer safety protocols to protect patients from unnecessary exposure.
• Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide emotional support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• MR Registered (ARRT certification)
• BLS Certification
• Experience operating GE MRI equipment
• Virginia License in hand at submission
