A&P MechanicThe A&P Mechanic is a vital member of the hangar team, working alongside Maintenance Technicians and Quality Inspectors to support planned aircraft maintenance projects. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on Falcon Jet corporate aircraft models.ResponsibilitiesPerform required maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for Falcon Jet aircraft.Conduct maintenance checks, inspections, and troubleshooting as outlined in the customer work scope.Maintain high technical knowledge and professionalism while interacting with customers, vendors, and flight department personnel.Adhere to FAA regulations and Dassault's Repair Station Manual, Operations Manual, and Quality Manuals.Ensure all documentation is accurately completed in accordance with SOPs.Work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with advance notice when possible.Be available for day, afternoon, evening, or weekend shifts as required.Handle forecasted work scopes such as troubleshooting, parts replacement, and work order documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.A&P license.Experience in troubleshooting and aircraft maintenance phases.Computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsConsideration for 7+ years of military experience without an A&P license, provided it includes hands-on aircraft maintenance.Experience with rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.Falcon or corporate aircraft experience is highly preferred.Possession of personal tools; specialty tooling provided.Why Work Here?Employees enjoy a competitive benefits package, including excellent and affordable medical insurance through Cigna, a 401K with a 100% match up to 6%, a 5% profit-sharing plan, paid time off, nine paid holidays, Falcon training, tuition reimbursement, opportunities to earn a pilot license, and promotional opportunities within the company.Work EnvironmentWork will take place in an aircraft hangar at Dassault Aircraft Services, a major service provider for Falcon Aircraft located in Reno.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
