Physician - Pulmonology Critical Care - Thomas (SMG)

Job Overview WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician. The successful candidate will practice in the primary location of Thomas Hospitals Pulmonary in South Charleston, WV. The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and neighboring states, five institutes, and management services for other local hospitals via affiliate agreements. Whether you are caring for patients at a critical access hospital, community site, regional or academic medical center, we are all one WVU Health System. Responsibilities Practice in the area of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. Offer outpatient pulmonary clinic services. Provide inpatient pulmonary consults. Perform bronchoscopies. Read pulmonary function tests. Offer inpatient critical care services. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent. Eligible to obtain a state medical license. Board certified or eligible in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
