The holder of this position also assists with the maintenance of school grounds. Special Knowledge / Skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with administrators and other staff. Treat all people with dignity and respect. Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures. Demonstrated skill in one or more trades. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to follow and convey verbal and written instructions. Ability to schedule and organize maintenance work. Ability to take the initiative in responding to maintenance problems before they escalates. Ability to operate power and hand tools. Ability to work as a member of a team. Minimum Requirements Ability to read and understand instructions for maintenance and safety procedures. Valid Texas Driver’s License. One year of experience in general building maintenance. Demonstrated skill in two or more trades. Job Requirements Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
