Loan Servicing Assistant Duties
As a Loan Servicing Assistant at the GS-1101-7, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Providing support services for the purchasing, servicing, and liquidation of commercial loans. Identifies loan documents and completes purchase packages.
- Applying regulations for government loan programs. Determine eligibility of loan servicing actions by utilizing different types and variety of rules and regulations. Apply knowledge in making loan servicing actions.
- Responds to oral requests from banks and borrowers and other financial institutions concerning factual information on payments on loans, interest rates, loan balances, terms and conditions and other credit information.
- Preparing written reports summarizing analysis of problem loan situations. Responds to full range of inquiries related to loan servicing.
