We are seeking a dedicated Technician to repair and service large conveyors primarily used in aggregate manufacturing. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow and learn within a dynamic environment, with a focus on training and development.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service large conveyors used in aggregate manufacturing.

• Use mechanical skills and hand tools for installation, repair, and service tasks.

• Travel as needed, covering the territory from South Austin to the border, with 75% of work based in San Antonio.

• Meet at the San Antonio shop for travel assignments and collaborate with other technicians.

• Ensure proper maintenance and service of equipment.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in using hand and power tools.

• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skylifts, and manlifts.

• Willingness to travel and work long hours, including 12-16 hour shifts in the field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CDL License is a bonus and can increase pay.

• Welding experience is preferred.

• Experience with conveyor repair, specifically large conveyors for aggregates, is highly desirable.

• Experience in a mechanical or manufacturing technician role.

Work Environment

Work outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. The role requires adaptability to long hours, particularly when engaged in fieldwork. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
