Travel RN Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370 Location: Cleveland, Ohio Employment Type: Travel nursing contract Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: October 23, 2026 End Date: January 22, 2027 Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Shift Times: Days, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Flexibility: Rotating between day and night shifts may be required based on operational needs Floating: May float to comparable units caring for the same patient population, including emergency care areas Med-Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent permanent experience in Med-Surg Tele nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Active ACLS certification Active NIHSS certification Strong cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry-monitoring skills Ability to successfully complete required medication-safety and ECG rhythm assessments during orientation Availability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment Professional reference from a recent nurse manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty Ability to complete required compliance, background screening, and orientation activities before and during the assignment Travel Nurse Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and care for patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs Interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with orders and nursing standards Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record Respond effectively to changes in condition and participate in emergency interventions as needed Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining consistent standards of care for the patient population Apply now for this Med-Surg Telemetry travel RN opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio.
