Maintenance Tech ( 2nd & 3rd shift ) in Greenwood

Job Objective Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on spinning machinery, lubricates machinery, cleans machinery when stopped off, and performs assigned duties Performs preventive maintenance & repairs on spinning machines Inspects and lubricates machinery Performs stop off cleaning Follows safety rules prescribed by plant Must be able to work safely around moving parts Must understand mechanical operation of loom Must be able to transport and install pieces of equipment weighing 75-100 lbs. Must be able to climb and use a ladder as needed Must be able to use gauges, power tools, and hand tools Must be able to supply own work tools Must be able to read and understand written instructions Must be able to complete simple reports Must be able to write legibly Must be able to perform simple math Must be able to distinguish colors in stock-in-process and waste Must be able to wear ear plugs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipment Must be able to meet Plant schedules and attendance requirements as specified in Company Policies Schedule 1st shift: 8am - 4pm Competitive Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Teladoc Basic Term Life/Accidental Death Insurance Short Term , Long Term Voluntary Life Insurance Free Employee Assistance Program Free Onsite Nurse/Clinic Theft Assistance/ Travel Assistance 401K Company Holidays Pay rate: $17.50 Hourly plus $1 shift premium Advancement opportunities/ internal growth available!
