The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS programming, data analysis, and project leadership. This role involves leading the development and implementation of SAS-based solutions, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical guidance to junior developers.Key Responsibilities:Lead SAS Development Projects: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SAS programs and solutions.Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and SAS programs through rigorous testing and validation.Technical Leadership: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior SAS developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, statisticians, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAS programs, processes, and data structures.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAS technologies and best practices, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAS programming and data analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS programming, including SAS Base, SAS Macro, and SAS SQL. Experience with SAS BI tools and SAS administration is a plus. Experience with source control/versioning software. Experience with agile development lifecycleAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring a team of developers.Domain: Experience working with data warehouses and data warehouse concepts; Experience with claims data
