About the Clinician's Workday The nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive family medicine services to patients in a correctional facility setting, managing 8-15 patients daily during four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, and complicated chronic care patients while providing urgent care services and performing minor procedures. Requirements: IM or FM board certification, BLS certification, Washington state licensure, and DEA registration for independent practice within the correctional healthcare delivery framework.
