Role Description The Human Resources Intern is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based at The Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role supports daily HR operations, including assisting with recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, and helping with onboarding processes for new team members. The intern helps maintain employee records, supports the administration of HR policies and procedures, and responds to routine employee inquiries. Responsibilities may include assisting with benefits documentation, coordinating training sessions, and supporting personnel-related projects. The intern collaborates closely with the HR team to ensure compliance with hotel standards and to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) concepts and practices. Interest or coursework in HR Management and Personnel Management. Basic understanding of HR Policies and their role in a professional setting. Exposure to or interest in Employee Benefits administration. Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office or similar software).
