  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' unique mental health needs and challenges.

  • Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals and circumstances.

  • Provide therapeutic services in various formats, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, to foster connection and recovery.
  • \n
  • Utilize a culturally competent and strengths-based approach to engage clients in their healing journey.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using a secure electronic health records (EHR) system.

  • Engage in continuous professional development through clinical supervision, training opportunities, and discussions with peers.

  • Advocate for client needs within a wraparound care model, ensuring seamless access to additional resources and unique services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC at Mentalis Health and Wellness, your primary focus will be on serving adults, adolescents, and families impacted by a myriad of mental health challenges. The diverse patient population reflects various cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, and needs, providing you with the opportunity to apply your skills in a meaningful way. You will play a crucial role in treating clients with high-acuity issues, trauma histories, and relational challenges.

Qualifications\n

  • Must possess an active LPCC license to practice in California; Associate level (PCC under supervision) candidates may be considered.
  • \n
  • Strong grounding in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • \n
  • A commitment to social justice, accessibility, and advocating for mental health resources in the community.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n
    \n
  • Two years of experience in outpatient, telehealth, or community mental health settings.
  • \n
  • Experience working with high-acuity clients, adolescents, or couples therapy.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with advanced modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
  • \n
  • Interest or experience in clinical supervision or involvement in the development of mental health programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Annual compensation ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, complemented by performance-based incentives.
